Dr. Bijendra Kumar Singh is presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Horticulture, Tilak Dhari Post Graduate College, Jaunpur (U.P.). He did his Graduation in Agriculture from VBSPU, Jaunpur, Post Graduation in Horticulture from BBAU, Lucknow and Ph.D. in Horticulture from BHU, Varanasi. He has specialization in Pomology. Dr. Singh has served Tilak Dhari Post Graduate College in various capacities like Member of Campus Greenery of College under IQAC committee and Academic Counselor of IGNOU study centre. Dr. Singh has 152 publications (research papers 30, proceeding papers 3, conference/seminar papers 52, books 5, book chapters 25 and popular/semi-scientific articles 37). He had been convenor of the organizing committee of One National Workshop.
